Kayaking Program, 2022 (registration open Feb 1)
Ages 7 years & up
Mornings 9am - 11:30am
Afternoons 1:30- 4:00pm
Cost: $100, $125, $150 or $200 - $100 covers the operating cost of our program. If your family, please consider paying more. This will allow us to offer programs at a reduced fee for those who wouldn't otherwise be able to attend. Thank you.

Our half day kayak program is an opportunity for kids to get on the water, play and learning the basics of boating. Instruction on safety and paddling techniques are infused in games, activities and swimming. We meet rain or shine, although we will come indoors for games during severe weather or water conditions!
Due to Covid-19, sessions will be limited to 12 (twelve) children and all participants *must wear a face mask* until out on the water. They should also bring a mid-morning snack to have on the water. Lunch maybe served this year - TBA.
**Kayak participants wear a life-jacket at all times on the water. Also, footwear must be worn at all times – in boats, in the water and on land.

Our half day rowing program teaches the basics of sweep rowing (one oar in a big boat) and sculling in single and double boats with two oars each. Instruction on safety and rowing techniques are infused in games, activities and swimming. We meet rain or shine, although we will come indoors for games during severe weather or water conditions!
Due to Covid-19, sessions will be limited to 10 (ten) children and all participants *must wear a face mask* until out on the water. They should also bring a mid-morning snack to have on the water, as lunch will not be served this year.
**Rowers may opt out of the life-jacket requirement with a parent signature acknowledging the campers ability to swim and tread water in water over their heads. Otherwise, they will wear inflatable life jackets.
