Holyoke Rows runs a free youth team rowing program for high school and middle school students during the school year. We offer rowing for both new and experienced rowers in 7th – 12th grade (12 – 18 years old) in the greater Western Massachusetts area. Programs include developmental middle school rowing, a competitive high school team, and summer practice rowing. No prior experience is required and anyone can learn!
Middle School Rowing is an introduction to the sport, for 6th, 7th and 8th graders and is offered each fall and spring season. This is a free, non-competitive program, with practices held 3 days each week. Rowers can repeat the program or join the High School Team.
